About
The Ohio Scientific Superboard II (Model 600) was a single-board computer from the late 1970s featuring a MOS 6502 CPU running at ~1 MHz, 8KB BASIC in ROM, and a 32×32 character-mapped video display.
Getting Started
Upload your legally-obtained ROM files: BASIC.ROM, SYN600.ROM, and CHARGEN.ROM
Click POWER to boot the machine
The Monitor ROM will display D/C/W/M? — press D for cold start or W for warm start
Keyboard Mapping
Your physical keyboard maps directly. Special keys:
Escape → ESC
Enter → RETURN
Backspace → RUB OUT
Ctrl → CTRL
CapsLock → SHIFT LOCK
F5 → LINE FEED
F9 → BREAK (Reset)
Cassette Interface
Load any file as cassette data. Click PLAY to feed bytes through the 6850 ACIA at $FC00. Use REC to capture output.
